Who is Simone Boyce? Simone Boyce is a journalist and host at NBC News and MSNBC. She has been an NBC News correspondent since 2018. Being a French, German, Nigerian, Scotch-Irish, and Sierra Leonean descent, she currently lives in New York. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from the University of Florida.

Boyce graduated from Miami Palmetto Senior High School. She went on to attend the University of Florida, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in broadcasting journalism.
Prior to joining NBC News in May 2018, she was a general assignment reporter on KTLA 5. In 2017, she reported from the front line of the largest wildfire in California history and the deadly Montecito landslides.
At Fox 5 News in New York, Boyce produced his own lifestyle series and earned an Emmy nomination for his reporting on the hidden roots of the underground railroad in Brooklyn and Manhattan.
Working for Mic, Boyce recently covered women’s issues as a digital correspondent and went on to work as a regular host and contributor to The Young Turks.
