Who is Erika Najarian?

Erika Najarian is the CEO and head of North American banks Equity Research, which oversees a team covering over 40 stocks at nearly $ 2 trillion in total market value. She is directly responsible for the coverage of the major US banks, including universal banks and super-regional banks. Erika joined BofA Merrill Lynch Global Research as Senior US Regional Banks Analyst in October 2010 to cover US banks.

Erika has covered banks in an investment banking or analyst capacity since 2002. Most recently, she has worked as an analyst at UBS, which covers Mid- and Small-Cap Banks. Prior to joining UBS, she was a member of the U.S. The Banks team at BofA Merrill Lynch Global Research, where she led the coverage of Small-Cap Banks for five years. Prior to her time at BofA Merrill, Erika worked as an associate in the research departments of Advest and FTN Financial and helped cover banks, thrift and specialty finance companies. She began her career as part of FTN Financial’s FIG investment banking team.

Erika received her BS in Finance & International business magna cum laude from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
