Who is Elie Mystal? Elie Mystal (42) is The Nation’s justice correspondent – covering the courts, the criminal justice system and politics – and the force behind the magazine’s monthly column “Objection!” He is also Alfred Knobler Fellow at the Type Media Center. Mystal received a degree in Government from Harvard University in 2000 and in law from Harvard Law School in 2003. He is a former Debevoise & Plimpton contributor and longtime Fan of the New York Mets. One of these things is not like the others. He is now the editor-in-chief of ATL.
