Who is Ashley Strohmier? Ashley Strohmier is an overnight anchor and news correspondent at FOX News Channel since March 2020. Formerly, she was the general assignment reporter and anchor at KMIZ-TV (ABC) in Columbia, Missouri since 2013, in which she covered crime and local politics news. She was granted an award from the Kansas City Press Club in 2014 due to her reporting on the state’s Department of Social Services that resulted in an investigation into the agency’s practices. Most recently, in 2019, Strohmier was honored as the Best News Anchor award by the Missouri Broadcasters Association.

Throughout her period at the station, she also had additional titles, including as a solo anchor for News This Morning, which she also produced, anchored and administered her daily content.
Prior to KMIZ-TV, Strohmier hosted FOX 22, a FOX affiliate of Columbia, Missouri, where she reported live on the scene of several news events across the state. She attended the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, Missouri, where she studied criminal justice. In 2010, she was crowned Miss Missouri USA.
