Who Is Monti Ossenfort? Monti Ossenfort is a New England Patriots’ college scouting director, hired by Tennessee Titans (report).

The New England Patriots have promoted Monti Ossenfort to director of college scouting following the departure of Jon Robinson in 2014.

Now Ossenfort will reunite with the general manager of the Tennessee Titans.

Ossenfort has been hired as Tennessee’s director of player personnel, reported Albert Breer of TheMMQB.com Monday night.

Ossenfort spent a total of 15 seasons in New England. The former starting quarterback at the University of Minnesota-Morris worked under the titles of personnel assistant, field scout, national scout and assistant director of college scouting before succeeding Robinson six campaigns ago.

With Robinson’s Titans, Ossenfort joins head coach Mike Vrabel and a selection of past players from the Patriots, including cornerback Malcolm Butler, guard Jamil Douglas and wide receiver Cody Hollister.

Ossenfort, whose contract was due to expire after the NFL’s draft, had interviewed in January for the vacancy of Cleveland Browns’ GM.

In the months that followed, the Patriots expanded player staff director Nick Caserio’s pact and added former Browns and Green Bay Packers director Eliot Wolf.
